I watched the live streaming on Youtube so I’ve already heard all the previews…but I don’t remember how each song sounds. Luckily for us, Big Bang Updates has all the previews posted in better quality than the streaming Youtube video! Click here to listen to all their previews!
I already pre-ordered their album on YesAsia, but I’ll have to wait a while because my other items won’t be available for shipping until January 5th…boo. So I’ll probably get my GTOP album around mid-January. Keep in mind that if you buy their album from YesAsia though, it won’t count toward the music chart rankings. If you really want it to count toward the Hanteo Music Chart Ranking, buy it from DVDHeaven. The reason why I didn’t order it from there is simply because I’m too lazy to make an account and I usually order all my things from YesAsia.
Just from listening to the previews, I can say that my favorite songs are “Don’t Go Home”, “Baby Good Night”, and the “Intro” (Big Bang always makes the best intros I swear). Although what happened to Park Bom’s featuring in “Don’t Go Home” I really don’t know…is she still in the track or not? But just G-Dragon’s part in it sounds fine to me. I’ll have to listen to the full tracks when they come out to see if my top favorites change. But so far just listening to the previews, I’m already impressed from GTOP’s album. They really portrayed a different music style here and totally stepped out of their comfort zone for some songs…especially TOP’s singing in a rock song. There’s already such a mixture of different genres from the duo’s album, I can’t wait to see how the Big Bang album sounds like. I love how they never play safe and always want to try new things. It’s very refreshing even though some of us may not like what we hear all the time; they deserve a round of applause for their bravery and creativity!
